Frank Landers - champion fighter, music producer, author, promoter and founder of the seishindo kenpo system.
Mr. Landers began his journey into the world of Martial Arts in the early 1960's at a time when the Arts were being defined by the harsh realities of the street, and when fierce competition between different systems often exploded into physical confrontation. Traditionalism clashed with the New World and the effectiveness of one style was sometimes measured against another by actual combat. |

Mr. Landers' passion for the Martial Arts led him down many paths with studies in Judo, old school Kenpo Karate, Taekwondo, BKF Kenpo, Kajukenbo and Eskrima a Filipino Martial Arts. He would dedicate his life to the true understanding of motion, and its cause and effects in action; "Why do we do what we do in motion, and how can we acheive maximum effectiveness, with the least amount of effort, from that action". Mr. Landers studies included a deep understand of the rich history of Samurai. He became a highly skilled swordsman, respected for his abilities to control a devastating weapon, like the samurai sword. From the 1960's - 1980's, as a top martial arts competitor, Mr. Landers captured numerous local and national titles, as he traveled from the west coast, to the east coast, competing in Traditional and Open competition, as a Fighter, and Weapons Form competitor. .............................................

In September of 1985, Mr. Landers, wanting to give back to his community, enrolled himself into the Rio Hondo Police Academy, graduating on May 22, 1986. 4 months later, the Landers moved to the Central Coast of California, where he was hired by Arroyo Grande PD as a Reserve Police Officer for the City of Arroyo Grande, California. In 1986, with the opening of the 4th training studio in Grover Beach, California, Mr. Landers became involved in Muay Thai KickBoxing Promotions, hosting a sold out event, on September 12, 1992, at the Embassy Suites, in San Luis Obispo, California.
In March of 1986, Mr. Landers was honored by Kajukenbo founder, Sijo Adriano Emperado, with a hand-made Red/White Belt, personly sewn and blessed by Sijo Emperado.

As the 1990's came to an end, Mr. Landers an accomplished musician, opened Atlantis-Zion Recording Studios in LA. He quickly became a highly sot after music producer, having recorded and produced such notables as Reggae Legend Garth Dennis, a founding member of the Black Uhuru. In addition, Mr. Landers produced David Lee Marks, rhythm guitarist and member of the 1960's Surf Band, The Beach Boys; for Atlantis Records.
